iPAQ 910c

HP’s iPaq 910c Business Messenger is clearly designed with corporate executives and their IT staff in mind. HP’s tricked-out GPS hardware was not only extremely accurate; it got satellite fixes very fast. Instead of waiting the typical two minutes or more for an initial fix, the iPaq 910 did it in 15 seconds. HP’s new offering is also slightly longer than its BlackBerry counterpart and slightly deeper. Still, the iPaq 910c is comfortable to hold and has a more solid feel compared to the Curve.

HP’s newest addition to its line of Windows Mobile Pocket PC products is the HP iPAQ rx4000, offering users an all-in-one productivity device that provide robust connectivity options and the processing muscle to cope with today’s demanding tasks. It must be noted that the rx4000 is not a Phone Edition device and will focus more on the multimedia aspects. The HP Oak delivers many of the baubles we’ve come to expect from Windows Mobile devices, things like 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, quad-band GSM, qwerty keyboard, a touchscreen, and even GPS have found there way in.

HP is also introucing the 614, another Windows Mobile device (this one presumably with a touchscreen), plus GPS, WiFi, and HSDPA. The company is also introducing the 314, a GPS navigator with custom HP software, and the iPAQ 214 and 114 two Windows Mobile-based PDAs without any phone functions (though they have WiFi, allowing for VoIP. The iPaq 910c has not been picked up by a U.S. Plus, it’s going to face stiff competition from brands like HTC, Samsung, and Motorola, which offer similar features and performance and for less with carrier support.”

The iPAQ 910c boasts a long list of high-end features it’s a modern-looking QWERTY bar phone with a very good keyboard, 3G 7.2Mbps HSDPA, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. The iPAQ 910c is fast for a Windows Mobile Pro device and one-handed operation is a breeze for common tasks. Unlocked for use with any GSM carrier.
